If you're having plumbing issues, you may be able to solve the problem on your own. Please keep the following advice in mind.

Drain Clogs

Most household clogs can be easily resolved with a plunger. Simply push your plunger over the mouth of the drain and pump up and down to dislodge anything stuck in the pipe.

Toilet Clogs

Plungers are also a great tool for clearing toilet pipes. Flush once and then create suction using the plunger. After pumping about a dozen times, lift the plunger to see if the water flushes on its own.

If it doesn't work, repeat the process.

If you lose electrical power in your home, call your utility company first. There may be problems due to construction, fallen lines, or other issues.

Breaker Flipped?

If you overload your electrical circuit, locate your circuit breaker and see if the switch is in the ON position. If it's not, reset it and see if it resolves your electrical outage.

If you don't have hot water access, locate your tank and check the settings. Attempt to reset the tank and wait 15 to 20 minutes before checking the temperature again.

If your temperature control isn't working properly, check the central thermostat in your home. It's easy to accidentally change your settings.
